The so-called Q-factor (the distance between the feet) was a key focus during the development of the Youngstar pedal! The shortened pedal axle allows for a significantly lower Q-factor, minimizing the X-position of the legs. This makes pedaling much easier for little ones and results in a noticeably smoother pedal stroke!

The ergonomic relationship between the contact surface and the children's shoes prevents the pedals from "flipping".
